Sikaflex-290 DC - Deck Caulking compound |
Sikaflex-290 DC and Sikaflex- 290 DC SL (VP) are 1-c UV-resistant polyurethane based joint sealing compounds specially formulated for caulking joints in traditional timber marine decking. The sealing compound cures to form a flexible elastomer which can be sanded.

Sikaflex 291- marine sealing compound |
Sikaflex-291 is a non-sag 1-c polyurethane sealant specifically developed for the marine market, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-291 is a multipurpose product for use in marine construction. It is suitable for making elastic, vibration-resistant joint seals, and can also be used for a variety of interior and exterior sealing applications. Sikaflex-291 bonds extremely well to the materials commonly used in marine construction like wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), ceramic materials and plastics (GRP, etc.). Sikaflex-291 must not be used to seal plastics that are prone to stress cracking (e.g. Plexiglas, polycarbonate, etc.). Once cured, Sikaflex-291 can easily be sanded down as required. |

Sikaflex-292 – strong elastic adhesive for marine applications |
Sikaflex-292 is a non-sag 1-c polyurethane adhesive of thixotropic, paste-like consistency which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-292 exhibits excellent adhesive properties and a high degree of mechanical strength. Sikaflex-292 is suitable for structural joints in marine constructions which will be subjected to high dynamic stresses. Suitable metals, particularly aluminum (including anodized finishes), metal primers and paint coatings (2-c systems), or ceramic materials, plastics such as GRP (unsaturated polyester resin), ABS, etc. Clear plastics and mineral glass should not be bonded with Sikaflex-292.

Sikaflex 295 UV – Fast-curing direct glazing adhesive |
Sikaflex-295 UV is a 1-c polyurethane adhesive of paste-like consistency that cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-295 UV has been specially developed for the marine industry, where it is used to bond and seal plastic glazing materials in boats and ships. Because of its excellent UV-resistance this product can also be used to seal joints in areas of severe exposure. Seek advice from our Technical Service before using Sikaflex- 295 UV on thermoformed plastics.

sikaflex 298 – spreadable adhesive for marine applications |
Sikaflex-298 is a slightly thixotropic 1-c polyurethane adhesive and sealant which cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-298 is suitable for bonding deck covering materials made from synthetic resins (except polyethylene and polypropylene), and for bedding-in and sealing of teak plank decking laid on top of the subdeck surface. Suitable substrates include GRP, marine plywood, steel, aluminum sealed with an anti-corrosion coating (epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based) and stainless steel.

Sika Marine Primer |
Sika marine Primer is a transparent, pale yellow liquid of low viscosity that dries by reaction with atmospheric moisture. It is used to prime timber decking strips prior to caulking with Sikaflex-290 DC or bonding with Sikaflex-298. Sika Primer-290 DC is formulated for use on the following substrates:
